Kashyapa Rishi
According to Sanatan Texts, Kashyapa Rishi is one among the Saptarshi and therefore, is considered to have amazing powers.
Kashyapa actually means tortoise but he is not the Kashyapa Avatar. Rather he is known as Kashyapa Prajapati. A Prajapati is a very high position. For example, you must have heard about Daksha Prajapati.

He is a powerful sage and Rishi with amazing powers, yet he is very humble and supportive. With his powers, he can give unbelievable boons as he did in the case of his two wives.

As per Sanatan Texts, he is supposed to be the son of Maharishi Marichi and his consort Kala
Maharishi Marichi is considered to be the manas putra of Brahma himself.
Wives of Kashyapa Rishi
Rishi Kashyapa had several consorts out of which thirteen were daughters of Daksha Prajapati. Names of his wives are Aditi, Diti, Kadru, Vinata, Surasa, Danu, Arishta, Surabhi, Yamini, Ira, Tamra, Krodhavasha, Kastha, Muni, Patangi, Timi, Vishva, and Sarma
Sons of Kashyapa Rishi
He is the father of Adityas [Devas], Daityas, Rudras, Vasus, Danava, Nagas, Maruts, Gandharvas, Apsaras, Mansa, Iravati, Aruna, and Garuda.
Adityas also known as devatas, were the son of Kashyapa and Aditi
However, Daityas were the son of Diti
Nagas were the son of Kadru
and Garuda and Aruna were the sons of Kasyapa and Vinata.
Daughters of Kashyapa Rishi
Mansa, Iravati and Apsaras were the daughters of Kashyapa.
